Every thing is original, no replacement parts. Cold war interactive electronic toy.
Overall in good shape complete with original instructions, Russian and American plane identification sheet, North American Defense Map, morse code chart, all original. Measures 13 by 14 inches. Great education tool for young and old.
Note: however would not allow young child to use this as it is delicate and can be easily damaged. Originally released by Product Miniature Toys. This originally had tons of features. As always with these old toys they can break down at any time. I do regularly use this item to keep it in good running mode.
Letting these old toys sit for years is not a good thing for them operationally. This is one of coolest items I have owned over the years in collecting old toys and feel it is time to pass it on to someone else to enjoy. What works: - Antenna goes up and down manually as originally intended. Horn alarm sounds when knob is pushed down. Scope lever lights up radar scope on right. (planes however do not move across screen as they should). Lever at upper right when pushed down and released shows random city under attack. Red knob on upper left can be manually turned to show plane approaching as originally intended. Then press'Friend or Foe' knob at bottom down which will show green light for friend or red light for foe. Morse code will work but knob is broken off. What Does Not Work: - Radar at top of toy does not go around, and is broken. Missing plastic chart board showing US for pegs to be put in to show cities under attack. Knob which controls radar scope should show planes moving on lighted screen but motor inside does not work (Note motor looks to be complete and in good shape and may be fixable for someone in the know). Planes can however be moved manually around the back. This item is in the category "Toys & Hobbies\Electronic, Battery & Wind-Up\Battery Operated\Pre-1970".
