The War Toys Kriegsspielzeuge is a comprehensive and much sought after book on the story of German toy maker Hausser-Elastolin and covers toys made by the company over its history. This long-defunct company was one of the great producers of figures and accessories for many decades, from the beginning of the 20th century through the 1980s. Shown is what is likely a pre-press galley proof, used to identify errors before the initial final press for the book. There is an errata page on the back and the whole book, although professionally printed, is production bound and the photos are all photocopys which leads me to believe this was use for proofreading. Author is Reggie Polaine, published by New Cavendish Books, London in 1979.
